  Fred Spillmann (1915-1986) probably was the most important swiss fashion designer of the 20th c. For the first time the exhibition in the historic museum Basel gives a complete overview over his creative work.

There will be a richly illustrated catalogue, by Margret Ribbert, curator of the Historic Museum Basel, which for the first time gives an idea of his creative development over more than 50 years. Costumes, accessories and drawings are reproduced in colour photos and explained in detailed descriptions.
