    Eastern Europe:

    • permanent exhibition, Golden Age of Pomerania. Art on the court of dukes of Pomerania in 16th and 17th cent.
      The most important for the history of costume is a collection of vestments and jewels taken from the graves of dukes of Pomerania. All of them underwent a thorough conservation.
      The very good and lovely catalogue was published together with the exhibition (bilingual Polish – German). It is possible to buy it in the Museum.

    • Reopening 21 March 2015 The George Washington University Museum / The Textile Museum, 701 21st Street NW, USA – Washington DC 20052, Tel (+1) 202 994 5200 ( - The Textile Museum is joining forces with the George Washington University to become the cornerstone of a new museum on GW’s main campus in Foggy Bottom. Exhibitions and programs will be presented to the public in a custom-built, approximately 46,000-square-foot museum building located at G and 21st Streets NW, bearing the names of both The Textile Museum and the George Washington University Museum.
